Some tips for Sentence completion and analogies question
Sentence Completion:
1. Read the sentence fully just like you read the argument presented in the AWA section.
2. Try to picturise the sentence.
3. Try to prephrase the answer, at least the connotations of the words.
4.: While plugging in the choices, ask questions whose answers should be perfectly compatible with your picture of the sentence. You can also ask yourself some simple questions like "will a connoisseur patronize individuals in a field?" if you had chosen, say, connoisseur as the option in the sentence "Queen Elizabeth I has quite correctly been called a _____ of the arts, because many young artists received her patronage. Of course, the correct answer to this question is "friend".
5. See if the connotation fits in properly. Also, while plugging in the answer choices, some of the words may not sound as commonly used in a particular context/along with a particular word. Still, if it makes correct sense even if the style does not seem to be fitting, go for it. Do not get confused and ultimately fall for the wrong one.
6. Use your experience!
Analogies:
----------
1. Determine the part of speech of the words.
2. "Imagine" their meanings and then form a "literal" bridge rather than a picturised bridge (you can resort to this only when you are done with all other alternatives).
3. Try the most common bridges (corresponding to the part of speech of the words). Also, if the word refers to some relationship between 2 entities, then look for such words in the options first.
4. Back-solve, if can't proceed. While back-solving too, frame a clear bridge between the words in the answer choice and then apply it to the question.

Some tips for Sentence completion and analogies question
Sentence Completion:
1. Read the sentence fully just like you read the argument presented in the AWA section.
2. Try to picturise the sentence.
3. Try to prephrase the answer, at least the connotations of the words.
4.
